Post-graduation work permit

Students who graduate from a recognized Canadian designated institute are eligible to apply for a post-graduation work permit if they have studied in Canada for at least 8 months. Post-graduation work permit is granted for a minimum of 8 months to a maximum of 3 years, depending upon the length of the study program. It helps students to gain necessary Canadian experience and apply for their permanent residence through Canadian experience class or provincial nomination program. It is vital to note that applicants can receive only one post-graduation work permit in a lifetime.

 

Eligibility for acquiring post-graduation work permit:

•Must have passed out from an eligible Canadian designated institute with a course/diploma/certificate of minimum 8 months.

•Must have maintained full time status in Canada during their course of study.

•Must have a valid study permit.

•Must have official transcripts and an official letter from the college stating completion of studies.
